Regional Champions: Help us reach more of the UK

We are raising money to recruit 6 Regional Champions - to reach more single Christians and increase the number of Single Friendly Churches around the UK. Could you help us?

Some churches are very good at working with single people, others are too focused on families and people feel lost and isolated. We have found that once we have worked with churches around singleness, they have a ‘lightbulb’ moment and realise it is time to change to be more single friendly.

This year we have seen those lightbulb moments happen across more parts of the country including Edinburgh, Yorkshire and South Wales - but our small existing team can’t hope to serve everywhere.

A Network of Regional Champions

This is why our strategy is to develop a network of Regional Champions to spread the word and grow our work with churches around the UK.

Our work in the South West shows how valuable this regional work can be. In 2024 our Church Engagement Office Liz met hundreds of people across her region, providing training sessions and resources for local churches.

If we could replicate this work in other regions, we believe it will truly enrich the spiritual lives of single Christians up and down the country - but this requires further funding.
